He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Margaret, and daughters Margot Webb-Foltz of La Canada, CA and Candice Brown of Salem, Oregon, along with four grandchildren, Jon and Jason Weber, C. Thomas Howell and Candice Danforth, and five great-grandchildren. Captain Webb graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and George Washington Law School. During 25 years of duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, he served as Legislative Counsel and received a commendation from Congress and President Truman for his revision of the Coast Guard Legal Code. Upon retirement, he joined his brother, Del E. Webb, of sports and retirement-community fame, and began a long, prominent career in business, financial management and movie production, co-producing several successful films. Mr. Webb served as President of the Board of the Beverly Hills Federal Savings and Loan Association. Memorial services will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, CA on Saturday, 22 December; interment at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
