Graveside services for Mr. James (Jack) L. Lewis, Sr., age 103 of Livingston, will be held 11 am Tuesday, January 5th, at Matthew's Cemetery on Windle Community Road with Bro. Kerry Duke officiating.

James passed from this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021, from Livingston Regional Hospital. Born August 20, 1917, in Overton County. He was one of 13 siblings born to Jesse Golden Lewis and Belle Reed Lewis.

James worked in construction. He was a member of the West End Church of Christ in Livingston.

He was married to Lucille Thompson for 35 years until her death in 1973 and to Marie Norris White for 35 years until her death in 2011.

He is survived by his children James (Margie) Lewis, Ralph (Laura) Lewis, Faye (Jim) Key, Ann (Tommy) Pelham, Danny (Cindy) Lewis, Bruce (Tammy) Lewis, and Brenda (Bill) Brooks. Grandchildren Tonia (Joe) Stephens, Ginger (Steve) Ricketts, Dyan (JD) Tyre, Brian (DeShayne) Lewis, Karen Key, Lori (Mike) Austin, Ellery (Amanda) Lewis, Reysheid (Kristin) Mata, Dylan Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Ronnie Winningham, Debbie (Dale) Wainwright, Kim (Todd) Hess, Sam (Tero) Brooks, and John (Kristi) Brooks. 23 great grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

James was the last remaining sibling of the musical Lewis family, and he loved telling stories of all he had seen and done through his many years. The family requests that memorial donations be made toward your favorite charity in Mr. Lewis's honor.
