Mrs. Lillie Brown, wife of E[lbert] F[frederick] Brown, died yesterday morning at St. John's Hospital of cancer of the stomach. Mrs. Brown was born in Platte County March 8, 1872, but has resided in Leavenworth nearly all her life. She was a member of Leavenworth Lodge No. 66 of the Degree of Honor. Beside her husband she is survived by a son, Frederick, her father, John Jackson, and six sisters. The funeral will be held from the home, 523 Maple street, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Harding will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
