Deemston, Feb 13 - Mrs. Eliza Jane Regester, wife of George Regester, died very suddenly at her home at this place at 2 o'clock this morning. Her death was due to grip. Mrs. Regester had been in apparent good health and last night retired without complaining of feeling ill, except as to a mild cold. About midnight her condition became serious and she only lived a short time thereafter. The deceased was 58 years of age. Her maiden name was Matthews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday. The funeral cortege will leave the late home at 10 a.m., and the services will be conducted in the M.E. Church at Beallsville at 11 a.m. The interment will be in the Beallsville cemetery.
