Marion B. Blankenship, 85, died Monday in Gainesville Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 23, 1894 in Cooke County, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Blankenship. He was a retired city city employee and married Lou M. Priddy March 25, 1917, who died Dec 12, 1979. He was a member of the Commerce Street Church of Christ.
Survivors are two sons, Marvin and Bil Blankenship; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Nessel and Mrs. Carl Roehl; brothers, Tom, John and Leonard Blankenship; sisters, Alvis Porter and Alma Titch; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
