PUEBLO, COLO. — Pauline Rein, 90, died March 12, at The Pavilion at Villa Pueblo in Pueblo. She was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Alexander, the daughter of Peter and Mary Blehm Yaeger. She married Henry Rein on Oct. 13, 1932, at Bazine. He died Oct. 29, 1982. She was a homemaker and had lived in Bazine since 1967, before moving to Pueblo.
Rein was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bazine.
Survivors include one son, Clifford Rein of Garden City; two daughters, Angleta Lapka of Timken, and JoAnn Schlegel of Pueblo; three sisters, Elma Stieben of Bend, Ore., Marie Schamaun of Las Vegas, Nev., and Edna Dietz of Tumwater, Wash.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Rein; two grandchildren, Kenneth Rein and Shannon Lapka; and four brothers, Peter Yaeger, Emanuel Yaeger, Frederick Yaeger, and August Yaeger.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, in Ness City, with the Rev. Deb Harvey officiating. Burial will be at the Bazine Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Colorado Association of the Blind.
