Violet R. Fjorden, 72, Cloquet, died Monday, Sept. 1, 1986, in Cloquet Nursing Home. She was born July 20, 1914 in Little Falls, Minn., and was a Cloquet resident for 56 years. She worked at Diamond Match Co. for many years and owned and operated Vi's Beauty Patio until 1976. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish and a life member of the Sons of Norway of Cloquet. She is survived by a brother, Wilfred (Irma) Forcier of Little Falls, and two sisters, Cora Wiherski of Little Falls and Luella (Orville) Moran of St. Paul, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., and recitation of the rosary was at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in Barr Brothers' Funeral Home, Cloquet. Services were at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Arrangements under direction of Barr Brother's Funeral Home.
