MARTIN, William Donald Born March 27, 1917 in Kansas. Passed away December 21, 2010 in Palmdale, Calif. He is survived by his children, Kathy Pierce (Larry), and Carl Martin (Laura), step-children, Joyce Elzouki (George), and Jim Chormicle (Sharon), 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his wife, Ruenella Martin in 2001. He was lived in the Antelope Valley for 54 years. He had a 30 year career as an aerospace mechanic at Northrop, he worked on the T-38 and F-5 programs on the flight line, during the flight test, he worked at Edwards during flight test, then at Palmdale on the production flight line. William had hobbies of woodworking and fishing at the Fin & Feather Club. A visitation will be held from 9am-11am with a funeral service at 11am on Thursday, December 30, 2010, both at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Calif.
