Loving mother and grandmother, Erma Ruth Anderson, 72, died March 30, 1991 in Salt Lake City.

Born March 6, 1919, Decatur, Illinois to Leman J. and Vurna Berdie Morgret Ives. Married Elery Ely Anderson, June 28, 1954; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She loved anything to do with crafts.Survived by her daughters, Ruth A. Cimmers and her husband, Mark, Magna; Helen M. Sessions, South Salt Lake; sons, Edward R. and his wife, Julia, West Valley City;and Melvin F. Murie, North Salt Lake; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and a granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 4, 1991 at 1 p.m. at the Mackay Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 South State St., Sandy. Friends may call 11:30-12:30 prior to services at the Mackay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South.
