Funeral services for Grace D.(Richardson) Carmichael were held at the Desert Lawn Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. John Edd Hill, pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church of Palmdale. Interment was at Desert Lawn Memorial Park with arrangements by the Chapel of the Valley Mortuary.
Survivors include her two daughters, Ella Faye Kynaston and Doreen Delma Jenkins, and one daughter-in-law, Irene (Pritchard) Carmichael. One son, Arthur Hugh, preceded her in death. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
