Melinda Sue Finneran-Ricci
July 4, 1991 - May 29, 2012

MISHAWAKA - Melinda Sue Finneran-Ricci, 20, died in an auto accident in Clarksville, Tennessee, near Fort Campbell where her husband, Anthony Ricci, was stationed and where they resided. She married Anthony Ricci on March 27, 2010. She was born and raised in Mishawaka on July 4, 1991, to her parents, Tim and Jennifer (Sinkovics) Finneran, who survive along with a sister, Brittiany Finneran. Mel has many aunts, uncles, cousins who truly enjoyed life with her. Her in-laws, Dino Ricci, Tammy and Rossi, welcomed her into their family. Melinda graduated from Mishawaka High School in 2010. She was absolutely crazy about the Chicago Bears. She always had a smile on her face from the day she was born; she sort of acquired a nickname of "Giggles." She was loved by all, and everyone she met was her friend. Her husband got wounded in Afghanistan and she was right there to nurse him back to good health and stayed by his side. She was so full of life, always helping her friends, and many friends she had. It is totally unbelievable how many friends she had. Her mom and dad once said, "I can't have a birthday party for her because she has too many friends and I can't fit them all in." It's an incredible loss to her husband, Anthony, who will dearly miss her. As will all her friends and family. Her sister, Brittiany, will always cherish the memories she left behind. Visitation was Sunday, June 3rd, from 2 until 4:00 pm and 6 until 8:00 pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN 46545. Funeral services will be held today, June 4th, at 1:00 pm in the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
