Charles Ray "Red" Flinn, 69, of Belleville passed away on July 21, 2010, at Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation.
He was born in Belleville on July 28, 1940, a son of the late Albert and Nellie Hupp Flinn.
"Red" retired from Walker Parkersburg where he had worked for several years. He was an avid coon hunter and farmer and attended New Life Baptist Church in Belleville.
He is survived by two brothers Gene Flinn and Shirley of Coshocton, Ohio, Carl Flinn and Kathy of Parkersburg, two sisters Alice Cole of Marietta, Hazel Smith and Bob of Parkersburg, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy I. Dowler Flinn, brothers LeRoy, Ira and Les; sisters Frances Hornbeck, Irene Hornbeck and Nettie Gingrich.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastors Scott Stewart and Dave Cumpston officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, and prior to the service on Friday.
