A registered practical nurse and a resident of Walker, she died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 80 and a native of Roseland. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Religious services at Immaculate Conception Church, Denham Springs, at noon Monday, conducted by the Rev. Michael Micelli. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Claire Ford of Zachary, Liz Myers, and Judy and Henry Henderson, all of Walker; a son and daughter-in-law Sam Russel and Jackie Euggino of Walker; three sisters, Mildred Dykes, Adda B. Wright and Hazel Veron, all of Denham Springs; two brothers, Cheney Ellis of Texas and Matt Ellis, Jr. of Baker; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters. Pallbearers will be grand-sons and Grand-daughters. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was an avid rose gardener and fisher. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 220 St. Vincent de Paul Place, Baton Rouge, LA 70767.
