Annette Vaudrin was born on March 16, 1919 in Polk County, near Gentilly, MN, the daughter of Napoleon and Leah (Gervais) Vaudrin. She attended Country School and as the older brothers left home to work out or start a home of their home, Annette and her younger brother and her sister were left to do many of the chores, such as milking cows by hand, feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, and tending the garden.

Annette was united in marriage to Wilfred Audette on November 14, 1939 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Gentilly, MN. The couple made their home in Red Lake Falls.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, canning, crocheting and was a huge Twins fan.

Annette was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN, Catholic Daughters and St. Anne Society.

In the early 1940's Annette worked as a waitress at the Green Lantern, and sometimes at the Jewel Tavern where her mother worked as a cook for Kaiser Sevard. She was asked to do some housekeeping for H.B. Lane and after he got to know her, he offered her a job at his drug store. She continued to work at that location known as Dodd's Drug Store for 39 more years. Annette enjoyed retirement and lived at Sunset Center, before moving to Hillcrest Senior Living.

Annette is survived by one son, Delbert (Carol) Audette, Red Lake Falls, MN; one daughter, Mae Doty, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Marty (Tammy) Audette, Cindy (Bob) Schear, Cherie (Ed) Chaput, Tammy Jegtvig, Michelle (Branden) Nelson, Father Craig Doty, Gerald (Marita) Doty and Lynnette (Jason) Oberg; 19 great grandchildren; and one brother, Maurice Vaudrin of Grand Rapids, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred, brothers and sisters, Orphier Vaudrin, Amedie Vaudrin, Thomas Vaudrin, Antonia (Vaudrin) Amiot, Donald Vaudrin, Raymond Vaudrin, Cecilia (Vaudrin) Perreault and Emil Vaudrin; and son-in-law, Roy Doty.
