Lloyd W. Callison, 88, of 766 Miller Farm Road, Staunton, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Callison was born March 15, 1914, in Augusta County, and was the son of the late Zaccariah Walker and Ella R. Helmick Callison.
He was employed in the maintenance department at Basic Witz for many years before retiring. He attended Mount Tabor Lutheran Church in Middlebrook.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lena Mae Neff Callison, on Feb. 21, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Loyd D. Callison of Staunton; two daughters, Mary C. Ruleman of Swoope, and Deborah K. Armstrong of Staunton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Stanley Wickett and Pastor Dennis Sites will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 this evening at the Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. Friends may call at the Callison home at other times.
