BELL SERVICES SET

Funeral services for Mrs. Stanley Bell, 801 Lakeview St., who died Saturday morning, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. The Rev. Theodore A. Inman, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Vera M. Alexander was born Oct. 29th, 1898, in Burlington, the daughter of Melvin and Daisy Zerkle Alexander, and she married Stanley Bell, June 10th, 1917, in Burlington. She had been a resident of Emporia since 1920 and for many years she and her husband owned and operated a grocery stores. She is survived by her husband; two sisters, Dortha Black, Burlington, and Mrs. Dale (Florence) Bell, Perris, Calif.; two granddaughters, including Mrs. Frank (Marilyn) Harbaugh, 1102 Peyton St.; and one greatgrandaughter, Christina Harbaugh. She was preceded in death by one son, Lester B. Bell.

Mrs. Bell was a member of the Auxiliary of the Fraternal order of Eagles.
