He was a retired teacher in the Harrisburg School District, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Dauphin County Retired Teachers Association, Perseverance Lodge 21, F&AM, the Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Temple, Zembo Luncheon Club, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest 43.
Surviving are his wife, Sallie A. Bonitz; a brother, John T., and a sister, Kathryn E. Rhine, both of Progress.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Hetrick Funeral Home, Susquehanna Twp. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m tomorrow at the funeral home.
