A Pleasant Wedding Party.

MANTOR—SULLIVAN—By the Rev. Father Vaudry, at the Catholic church on Thursday evening, May 27, 1886, at 7:30 o'clock, Mr. W. H. Mantor and Miss Maggie Sullivan, both of this city.

      The wedding party repaired to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Horn on Fifth street north after the ceremony where a banquet and other festivities had been prepared and at which place a large number of invited guests had assembled to tender their congratulations for future happiness. The groom is a highly-esteemed employee of the Northern Pacific railroad in this city acting in the capacity of car accountant at the freight office, and he has been a resident of Brainerd about three years. The bride is a sister of Mrs. C. E. Horn, her former home having been at Boone, Iowa. Both parties are well known to the society people of this city and the event was a very interesting one. The couple were escorted to the evening train by the entire wedding party, on which they took passage for a trip west over the N. P. road. The following is the list of presents which were tendered them:

Widow of Late Judge Mantor Passed
Away at St. Paul Hospital,
Leaves Two Sons

      Mrs. Margaret Mantor, widow of the late Judge Willis H. Mantor, passed away at 5:10 Sunday afternoon at a St. Paul hospital, death resulting from complications.
      Mrs. Mantor was a pioneer resident of Brainerd, coming to the city in the early 80's. She was married here and is survived by two sons, George, who is employed by the Northern Pacific in St. Paul and, Maurice, located in the East.
       Deceased at the time of her death was 67 years. of age. She was a member of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and had held membership in the Yeomen.
      The remains will be brought to Brainerd tonight, and will be taken to the E. J. Cook home, 212 Fifth street north, on Tuesday. The funeral will be held at 8:20 Wednesday morning from St. Francis Catholic Church and interment made in Evergreen cemetery beside her husband. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch 26 November 1923, p. 10)
