Sylvia C. Luer passed away October 31, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born March 15, 1919 in Menahga, Minnesota, she lived the last 51 years in Spokane. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Luer, in 1999, and is survived by her children and their families: son Dennis Clute and his wife, Mary Ann Clute, of Spokane, and their children, Tiffany Fieken of Cornelius, Oregon and Cale Clute of Spokane; daughter Janice Halteman of Portland, Oregon and her children, John Alcorn of Chandler, Arizona; Elizabeth Halteman of Tampa, Florida; Alexander Halteman of Boston, Massachusetts; and Philip Halteman of Burlington, Vermont; and six great grandchildren. She is in our hearts forever.
