Services Held For Jane Shelton Clemons
Jane Shelton Clemons, 86, Minors Branch Road, widow of William T. Clemons, died last Thursday night at her home following a brief illness.
She was a native of Owen County, daughter of the late Chester and Lou Ann Poland Shelton, and a member of Minorsville Christian Church.
Services were held Sunday afternoon at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home, Stamping Ground, by Revs. Sherill McNamee and Harry Hargis. Burial was in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are two sons, Lou Clemons, Stamping Ground and Thomas Clemons, Georgetown; two daughters, Mrs. Sam Warfield and Mrs. E.T. Wise, both of Stamping Ground; a brother, John B. Shelton, Owenton; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Burchfield, Gary Hoffman, Danny Hoffman, Lloyd Luttrell, T. Wright and B. Wright.

Her sister Ann Marie Clemons ,who married Samuel Taylor Warfield ,is buried in Crest Lawn Gardens Cem., Georgetown, Scott Co., KY
