CALDWELL — Services for Coleman Boden Ensign, 74, of 1318 Everett St., Caldwell, who died Thursday in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Flahiff Funeral Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Cross, St. David's Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.

He was born Feb. 28, 1906 in Brigham City, Utah. He was reared and educated in Utah. He attended Utah State University, where he was a member of Sigma Nu. He was employed by Woolworths in Salt Lake City for a time. He moved to Idaho and was employed by M.H. King Co. in Burley. He was later transferred to Buhl. He married Loyeda Higbie on Nov. 4, 1934. in Twin Falls, where they lived for a time. They moved to Rexburg, where he managed a store for M.H. King Co. They moved to Idaho Falls, where he managed a Slusser Variety Store. He was part-owner in a grocery store in Shelley. They moved to Caldwell in 1949, where they managed the M.H. King Co. He retired in 1969. In 1971, he became secretary of the Caldwell Elks Club, a position he held at the time of his death. He was chairman of the area draft board for several years. He was a member of the LDS Church, the Kiwanis Club of Twin Falls and the Rotary Club of Caldwell. He was a charter member of the Rexburg Lions Club, a life member and past exalted ruler of the Caldwell Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge No. 1448, and past district deputy of southern Idaho for the Elks Lodge. He was a member of the public relations committee for Caldwell Memorial Hospital and past chairman of the Caldwell Memorial Hospital fund-raising ball.

Survivors include his wife of Caldwell; three daughters, Sondra Lyman of Orinda, Calif., Linda Dashew of Palos Verdes, Calif., and Leslie Hall of San Diego; four sisters, Olive Evans and Bernice Evans, both of Mesa, Ariz., Winnifred Johnson of Salt Lake City, and Lois Swapp of Laie, Hawaii; and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by four brothers.

Memorials may be given to the Elks Rehabilitation Center, Boise.

Friends may call at the chapel today from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. to time of services.
