Miss Mook was born in East Pembroke, being the daughter of Anson and Mary Mook. She received her education in East Pembroke and Buffalo and in 1890 went to Buffalo as a stenographer for Judge Charles Forsythe. In 1905 Miss Mook went to Yakima, WA, to work for Judge Forsythe and for the past five years she had been connected with the United States Bureau of Reclamation Service.
