Olga was born to Richard and Sallie Dillon in Milfay, Oklahoma on March 7, 1925. Their union brought forth four children. Her father worked for the railroad and she lived in a box car during her pre-school years alongside the Frisco railroad tracks in Stroud, Oklahoma. Her mother passed away when she was only 9 years old leaving her and her three other siblings. Her father remarried. This union brought forth five children and Olga helped raise and nurture them. Recently the article, "Box Car Olga" was published in her local paper, featuring her and her story.

She married Thomas Hart Jr. December 7, 1942. Their union brought forth six children, two girls and four boys. In 1962 they relocated to Mojave, CA. She lost her husband to cancer in 1968. She provided for her children by waitressing and pinching pennies for many years.

On July 9, 1974 she married Ralph Baehr. Her and her husband ran Bud's Garage as well as a wrecking yard in Mojave, Ca. They were active in their community with involvement in various organizations such as Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and Model T Club. Ralph restored a Model T and they participated in many parades together. She lost Ralph to cancer as well and donated regularly to cancer research.

She was an artist; she painted beautiful paintings and regularly participated in art shows winning various ribbons and awards. She spent her spare time crafting and collecting treasures, always saving discarded treasures, cleaning them, restoring their beauty and placing them on display. She found beauty in things that were broken, dirty or discarded and gave her tender loving care to restore them and give them a place. She spent her most recent years avidly researching her family history and preserving what she found. She enjoyed going out to lunch with a friend or a phone call from a friend or family member.
