Annie Lou Glenn Amason, 89, of 711 Whitehead Road died Friday, June 20, 1997. A native of Banks County, Mrs. Amason was retired from Chicopee Mills. She was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, with the Revs. Hoyt Johnson and John Griffeth officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, William L. Amason; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be members of the Gideon Association of Athens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International.
