WHITE, Raymond Louis, was born on March 28, 1927 in Battle Creek, Michigan and passed away on August 10, 2011 in Palmdale, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou White. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Richard (Karen) White, daughter, Diane (Paul) Poulliot, daughter, Dori Cuda, and granddaughter raised lovingly as his own, Sherry (Troy) Moore, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Ray served in the US Navy and the US Air Force, but was most proud that his son, Richard served in the US Navy and his grandson, Brandon served in the US Air Force. He had a long career in the Aerospace industry, a majority of that time being spent at NASA where he worked for 30 years. Ray enjoyed his family and friends, traveling, cruising, fishing, and camping at Jalama Beach. He was an inspiration in each of the lives he touched and will be deeply missed. A visitation will be held from 9am to 11am with funeral services at 11am, Thursday, August 18, 2011, both at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary Palmdale with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
