Mrs. Lucy Mahoy, 79, of 420 N Hazel St., died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday (June 8, 1961) at St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient since June 5.
Lucy was born Aug. 21, 1881, in Humrick, Ill., a daughter of Prince Albert and Alice Bush Lansaw. She received her schooling in Humrick.
She was married to Frank Morrow, who preceded her in death. Surviving from this marriage are a granddaughter, Mrs. Donald (Zora) Lindholm of Sheldon, Ill., and a great-granddaughter.
She was later married in Lafayette to Frank Mahoy, who preceded her in death in 1948.
She had lived in Danville since 1941.
She was a member of the St James Methodist Church, Iris Chapter Order of Eastern Star and the White Shrine.
The body is at the Pape Memorial Home where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Edward Young officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
