William Lloyd Kennedy, 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his residence.

He was born on October 3, 1928 in Sullivan County, Indiana the son of Laud and Lavera (Wright) Kennedy. William was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He worked as a foreman at Herff Jones.
William was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Wynona Sensing and Jean Skinner.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years Sarah (Usrey) Kennedy, son Kirby Kennedy of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter Kathleen (Gregory) King of New Palestine, Indiana, one grandson William (Candace) Kennedy, two great-grandsons; Caleb and Tyler Kennedy, four sisters; Judy Cliver, Judith (Jake) Bell, Ramona Bonham all of Dugger, Indiana, Phyllis June (James) Horne of Booneville, Indiana.

Services entrusted to Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.

Bill & I traded Wright family info a few years ago [he had a lot more than I did!]. I truly appreciate his time & interest. Never had the chance to meet, but I wish I had. RIP cousin.
