Killed in a hunting accident. He went hunting behind the house and when it became dark his sister, Lena Postell, became worried that something may have happened to him. She then went looking for him and located his truck. He was lying on the ground on the passenger side of the vehicle. His shot gun was laying across the set. Apparently he had pulled it across the seat and somehow it went off striking him in the chest. He was deceased.
