HENRY P. LOWRY

Henry P. Lowry, 71, of Shaw Mines, Meyersdale RD 3, died Thursday night,
November 18, in the Somerset County Hospital. He was born April 28, 1877, in
Maryland. He was a retired coal miner, a son of Jack and Mary Deneen Lowry.
The following children survive: Mrs. Joseph Carey, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Howard
Minna, Girard, O.; Alfred Lowry, Meyersdale RD 3; Harry W. Lowry, Youngstown,
O.; George S. Lowry, Fort Knox, Ky.; two grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren; one brother, Harry Lowry, Philadelphia, and one sister, Mrs.
William J. Smith of Meyersdale.
Funeral services were held at Price Funeral Home, Monday at 10 a.m., with the
Rev. C. A. Shilke of Lavansville officiating. Miss Lena Heckler was soloist at
the funeral. Burial was made in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
