Mrs. Peters was retired from Russell Mills after working as a seamstress for 45 years. She was well known for her church service work and her variety of homemade sweets. Little Jennie was a member of Old Providence Baptist Church for 75 years. She witnessed for the Lord for 94 years and then He called her home.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Owens Peters, her precious parents, Richard and Birdie Wesson Speake, her oldest son, Charles Peters.
