Kenneth Edwin Badman, 91, of Palmer passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at 8:40 p.m. at Taylorville Care Center.
Kenneth was born September 28, 1922 in Loudon Township, Fayette County, IL the son of George Cleveland and Margaret Matilda (Hissong) Badman. He married Juanita Randel on September 26, 1950 in Harrison, AR.
Kenneth worked in the oil fields as a backhoe operator for Shell Oil Company for several years. He was a veteran of the Army serving during World War II in the European Theater. He enjoyed fishing and watching baseball.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Badman; sister, Irene Reed; sister-in-law, Margaret Badman and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in Springhill Cemetery, rural St. Elmo, IL.
