Mrs. Mina Maurer, age 88, died Saturday evening at a local hospital. She had been a resident of Lansing for the past 37 years, coming here from St. Louis, Mich., and was a member of the Central Methodist church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. A.O. Peterson of Lansing; two sons, Lee W. Maurer of Midland and G. Daine Maurer of Detroit; also 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Estes-Leadley Colonial chapel with Rev. Robert A. Blasdell of the Central Methodist church officiating. Interment will be made at Evergreen cemetery. Bearers will be Wendell Dilworth, Dale Monroe, Frank Williams, James Staub, Albert Stockel and Kenneth Mix.
