James W. Bigham, of Gettysburg, departed this life June 28.

He was the son of the late James L. and Beulah Horner Bigham.

Mr. Bigham was a member of the Lower Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church and the Pennsylvania Farmers Association. He was a life-long farmer in Freedom Township.

He was the husband of the late Margaret Alice McNair Bigham, who departed this life in 1986, and is survived by one son, James R. Bigham of Gettysburg; three daughters, Eva J. Trostle of Gettysburg, Barbara A. Sibert of New Oxford, and Amy L. Sanders of Mercersburg; eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Mary Knox of Gettysburg and Eleanor Mueller from Medford, OR.

He was preceded in death by one son, John M. Bigham; one sister, Margaret Beitler, and one brother, Ken Bigham.
