Brenda Person, 63, passed away on May 12, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 5-8pm May 14 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. On Tuesday, May 15, at 11am a graveside services will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia, Mississippi.

Ms. Person was a member of Raymond United Methodist Church. She was born and raised in Columbia. Later in life, she worked over 30 years in the Media Center of Hinds Community College before retiring. Undoubtedly, her most cherished moments were spending time with her grandchildren.

Ms. Brenda is survived by her son, Greg Harris; Daughter-in-law, Shannon Harris; Brother, Steve Person; Nephew, Scott Person; Niece, Smythe Haley; two grandchildren, Taylor and Michael Harris; and longtime friend, Troy Burns.
