Stewart M. Ankabrandt, RD6, died this morning at his home. He was 59 years old.
He was born on July 15, 1906, in Franklin County, son of the late John and Jennie Brindle Ankabrandt. He was a retired employe (sic) of the U.S. Naval Depot, Mechanicsburg. He was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church and the Volunteers Class of the Sunday School.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Wolf Ankabrandt; a daughter, Nancy Jean Ankabrandt, at home; a brother, Floyd E. Ankabrandt, and a sister, Mrs. Mary V. Farner, both of Carlisle.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Brethren in Christ Church, here. The Rev. Paul L. Snyder and the Rev. R.H. Wenger, pastor and former pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Sunday evening at the Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street, and on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
