Isaiah Cain became Justice of Peace in the place of Aaron Butler Esq who was appointed a Justice of Quorum. 7 Sep 1819. Amite Co. Court p.143.
He was a delegate to the Constitutional convention 1832 at Jackson, representing Amite Co.
Isaiah Cain was a soldier of the War of 1812 for which his widow received a pension. Abstracted in MS Genealogical Exchange, Vol. 8-10, it reads: Cain, Isaiah, wid.
