She was born 15 Feb 1931, in Wayne county to Kenneth E. and Lois M. Williams and was a lifelong resident of this community. Marlene was a 1949 graduate of Richmond High School.
She was employed at Belden for 13 years and was an aide to Crestdale and Hibberd schools for 12 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Marlene enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Puthoff, to whom she was married 18 March 1949; son Donald E Puthoff II and his wife Geri of Orlando, FLA; granddaughter, Erin Puthoff or Orlando, FLA; sisters, Virginia Whirley and her husband James of New Westville, ohio, Carol Harshberger and her husband Steve of Marietta, GA, and Kay Long of LaVerne, CA; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in her death by her parents; four brothers and three sisters.
Burial will be at Willow Grove Cemetery, Fountain City.
