Mrs. Alta L. Beaver, 87, died at 9 p.m. Saturday (5 July 1980) at the Huntington Nursing Home, where she had resided since 1975.
She was born 7 March 1893 in Huntington County to David and Nancy Jane Stephens Snider, and her marriage was on 3 May 1913 to Vernon Beaver, who died 8 July 1977.
Survivors include a son, Paul Beaver, Irish Lake; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bailey Mortuary from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday until time of services at 2 p.m., with Rev. Laurence I. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Steven Beaver, Michael Beaver, Thomas Furney, David Laurie, David Merkler and Louis Leier.
