Flink was an award-winning author and poet, best known for his offbeat style and poems of nature and of the countryside. His works appeared in a number of periodicals and anthologies. His only published book "A MELLOW HORN" 1943, came about as result of having been awarded a prize from the now defunct "Muse" magazine. His book featured 63 of his poems. He spent most of his life in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. He never married or had children.
