Her family moved sometime between her birth in 1850 and 1860 to Henderson County, Tennessee and probably lived near Jack's Creek, Tennessee. Source: James Daniel through descendants of Robert Morris.
Before 1870 Martha married Daniel B. Taylor, as they are found on the 1870 Lexington, Henderson County, TN census, Daniel Taylor, age 29 and Martha age 19 together without children. "They may have left Tennessee and went to Aurora, Lawrence County, Missouri as three of her older brothers took that same route on their way to Texas. Walter Wooten Daniel and William Martin Daniel were both at Aurora when the 1880 census was taken and Hearrel Wiggins Daniel lived in that area for about 20 years before going to Texas. Walter and his family left Jack's Creek in 1884." Source: James Daniel
