Services for Edward F. Crozier 85, of Madison, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Rd., Madison. Mr. Crozier died Sept. 9, 2000, at Geneva Hospital. Born Sept. 18, 1914, in Buffalo, NY, he lived in Painesville before moving to Madison 53 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a Sgt. in Co. G., 145th Infantry, the Ohio 37th Div. for four and a half years and he enjoyed telling war stories to his grandchildren. He was a member of VFW Post 8548, the 37th Div. Veterans Assoc., AARP and the Senior golf League at Erie Shores. He was a 1933 graduate of Painesville Harvey High School and was a former member of the Church of Christ in Painesville. His brother, Everett and parents, Franklin and Myrtle Crozier, are deceased. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville. The family suggest contributions to the Fagan Fund of Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd., Madison or the Madison Public Library, 6111 Middle Ridge Rd., Madison.
