Clifton Gardner, 64, Eldon, died Thursday at a Jefferson City hospital.
He was born Dec, 6, 1898, near Iberia, the son of Abraham and Sarah Gardner. He was married on March 2, 1923 to the former Ruby Ponder, who survives.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Clarice Perkins, Iberia and Mrs. Nora Atwell, Crocker.
Gardner was manager of American Sales in Eldon, Warrensburg and Clarksville, Ark., prior to his retirement.
