Estelle Mae Berdine, 75, of Washington, died Friday, May 4, 2012, in Humbert Lane Health Care Centre, South Strabane Township.
She was born July 6, 1936, in Washington, daughter of the late David R. and Helen McFall Horne.
Mrs. Berdine was employed at American Heating for 23 years, retiring as supervisor.
She was Protestant and greatly enjoyed her family.
On January 19, 1953, she married Howard "Tubby" Berdine Sr., who died April 7, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Howard Berdine Jr. and Henry Berdine, and two daughters, Joyce (Curt) Taylor and Vicki (Matt) Simms, all of Washington; grandchildren Jennifer Berdine, Rebecca Berdine, Nicole Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Brittany Simms and Randy Berdine Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Dominick Berdine, Faithe McCartney and Bentley Skirble.
Deceased are son Randy Berdine Sr.; daughter Becky Berdine; and two brothers, Harry Horne and David Richard Horne.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 8. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
