Following obit from the Ashley County Leader, Feb. 2, 1936, page 1:
Lee Roy Sanders, age 75, of Crossett, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Guy Nolley, at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. Mr. Sanders had been in bad health for some time. He was born Oct. 17, 1863. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Guy Nolley of Hamburg and Mrs. Lonnie L. Gibbs of Crossett, 3 sons, A. Kent Sanders of Denver, Colorado, Roscoe H. and Jack N. Sanders of Little Rock, a brother, Alvis Sanders of Des Moines, Iowa and 7 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Crossett Wednesday and burial at Fordyce, Ark.
