Cecil C. Hamilton passed away at 7:35 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at St. Mary's hospital, Decatur.
He was born March 3, 1902 in Shelby County, a son of Wallace and Etho Watson Hamilton.
He was in business in Sullivan for many years, chiefly in the foods lines. He was first connected with the Hamilton Fruit Market, and later in the grocery business. For a number of years he owned and operated the Hamilton Food Market until retirement.
He was a member of the Christian Church, Sullivan.
On May 5, 1947, he married Ruth Winchester, in Paducah, KY.
Interment was in Greenhill cemetery.
