Musician/Drummer. Buddy Saltzman (sometimes spelled Salzman), was one of the most prolific studio drummers in New York from the 1950's to the 1970's. Although considered primarily a jazz drummer, his unique style is most closely identified by his studio drum sessions on virtually every hit record by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, including "Sherry", "Rag Doll", "Walk Like A Man", and "Dawn (Go Away)". He can also be heard playing drums on popular recordings by Frank Sinatra, The Monkees, Simon & Garfunkel, Little Eva, Connie Francis, Lou Christie, The Coasters, The Archies, Lesley Gore, Tommy James & The Shondells, The Cowsills, Neil Sedaka, and Barbra Streisand.
