William F. Manchester, 64, of 243 W. Cedar, Gladwin, died Monday, Nov. 6, in the Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born in Burks Falls, Ont., Can., on April 22, 1914, he moved to Detroit in 1956 and to Gladwin July 29, 1978. Mr. Manchester was president of the RHM Rubber Manufacturing Co. of Detroit.
He was married to the former Opal Little on February 15, 1974, in Alpena. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marlene Tyler of Northville; and one sister, Mrs. Dellia Cousins of Detroit.
Rites were held Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Locher officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 11-15/1978 Column - 4 Page - 2.
