Mr. Williams had been a meter repairman at Landis & Gyr in Lafayette for 37 years, retiring in 1988. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1946. He was a member of Congress Street United Methodist Church and Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Alan L. Williams of Lafayette; a daughter, Lisa (Mrs. Stephen) Mattox of Boca Raton, FL; one sister, Norma Jean (Mrs. Ben) Danaher of Lafayette; and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by infant twins who died shortly after birth, Holly Ann and Corey Lynn; and a brother, Robert Williams.
