CLARKSVILLE, Ark. Francis Herbert Hamilton, 91, passed from this life Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at his home in Clarksville.He was born to Thomas J. and Irene Hamilton Nov. 7, 1920 in Arnold, Pa. He graduated from Arnold High School in 1938 and married OlieLee Peart-Dutchess March 21, 1942. He was a lifelong Lutheran, charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Cocoa, Fla., and a current member of River Valley Grace Lutheran Church, Lamar, Ark.He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran, training as a tail gunner, and served in the United States and England. Lee traveled with him, living in Sioux City, Iowa, Kearny, Neb., Las Vegas, Nev., and San Diego, Calif.. After the war, he joined the family business, founding Hamilton Bros. Plastering. He was a master plastering contractor, responsible for many plastering finishes in the great buildings at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon Institutes in Pittsburgh, Pa. In 1952, he built a lovely home in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania-each room had a different plastering technique and he would bring prospective clients to the home to choose their own particular plastering finish. He relocated to Cocoa, Fla., in 1961, buying a home along the beautiful Indian River. He spent the next 40 years, enjoying the glorious views of the water and the space launches from Cape Kennedy. In 1982, he bought his Arkansas home on College Ave, enjoying the travel back and forth-their license tag read 3 FLARKZ, including their beloved wienie dogs in the count. They moved to Arkansas permanently in 2000 and became Razorback fans with a Florida Gator emphasis. They enjoyed golf, square dancing and classical music.He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lee; his parents; his brothers, Thomas W., Fred W., Harold A., and Raymond C.; his son-in-law, Bob Wise; and four-legged children, Boo, Cocoa, and Oscar Meyer Wiener Dog. He is survived by his son, David P. Hamilton and wife Michelle, of Sale Creek; his daughter, Franlee Jo Hamilton Wise, of Clarksville; grandchildren, Jamie and Doug Baker, of Dayton, Tenn., Robin and Patrick Milligan of Mountain Home, Idaho, Neal and Catherine Wise, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; and great-grandchildren, Allison Aron and Ida Lee Lewallen-Milligan, of Mountain Home.Service 10 a.m. Monday at River Valley Grace Lutheran Church.Burial, Harmony Cemetery.Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hardwicke Funeral Home, Clarksville.
