She was born May 14, 1923 in Van Buren, ME, daughter of the late Abel and Mary (Ring) Parent and had lived in Collinsville most of her life. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville /Burlington and the Cawasa Grange #35 in Collinsville. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her husband and family meant the world to her.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Warren Caron and Kim Belmonte of Winston-Salem, NC; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Gilma and George Langevin of Canton, Carol and Earl Murphy of Canton, Barbara Blake of Collinsville and Cynthia and John Doran of South Windsor; 12 grandchildren, Lisa Legowski, Ken Langevin, Nancy Keenan, Sheila Doney, Tom Murphy, Teresa Dotson, Wendy Batan, Tammy Fradsham, John-Michael Doran, Todd Doran, Kristen Jakupco and Sandra Guay; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters and two brothers and her son-in-law, Richard Blake.
The family would like to acknowledge the special care given to her at Amberwoods of Farmington. She is leaving behind a wonderful and caring friend, Gloria, who she met at Amberwoods.
Family and friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Sunday, March 18 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral will be Monday, March 19, 10:15a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Collinsville.
